About the event
The West Des Moines Democrats will be hosting a DAY OF ACTION at St Mark Lutheran Church at 11115 Grand Avenue, West Des Moines on Saturday December 13th from 12:00 pm until 6:00 pm. We will have a community potluck after the DAY OF ACTION in the same location and all are invited.
We would like every available volunteer in West Des Moines to participate in this DAY OF ACTION so that we can maximize the number of people who vote early. Getting to our win number before we reach Christmas will be vital to winning this election.
Volunteer activities will include door knocking, phone banking, text banking, post card writing and delivering yard signs to those who have requested them. We also welcome people who are willing to drive door knockers around so all they have to do is get out of the car, contact the voter and then get back in the car and move on to the next door. This is very helpful and can speed up the door knocking process which helps us contact more voters.
