About the event
The Iowa Clean Future Forum, sponsored by WDM Democrats, will explore Iowa’s rising cancer rates and the environmental connection and what we can do about it.
This no-cost community workshop will feature Sarah Green, Executive Director with the Iowa Environmental Council, and Chris Jones, research engineer and author of Swine Republic. They will share the latest information about environmental risk factors, like water quality, and rising cancer rates. Discussion will take place on how we can advocate for policies that will reduce contamination of our environment and improve public health in Iowa.
